Mrisho Mpoto found himself under hot water following his recent thoughts about multipart system ideas, after he claimed it means for negative purpose.
The famous poet made a comment during an interview with Oscar at Wasafi FM, he spoke about what he sees about multiparty system.
Mrisho Mpoto said the idea was established to remove other and put another in power, which doesn’t sound positive to him.
The CCM member and poet added that, the multiparty system idea was introduced in Tanzanian with western motives and not Africans, thus wasn’t taken well.
He added that, the idea is not intended to solve African’s problems rather than creating chaos, which is false intent.
After the clip went viral, social media users were not happy with his uneducated thoughts, they put him on blast by being so flatter to those in power and remain silent about what is going on in the country.
Mpoto is among of artists that have shown a huge support to CCM and current administration, he once famous for his poetry against government leadership and other matters that affect society, but now he turns against his old perspective.
His love to CCM and current president is extraordinary, even blindly to see the importance of multiparty system, his reputation and respect to public is already gone but he still put faith on current path without hesitation.
