Young Africans has donated Tshs 100K to CCM, as a boost to facilitate the political party on upcoming election, August 12.
The club took to its social media to reveal the news, as special meeting held by CCM last day, asking for donation from its supporters.
Its move on donating the party didn’t sit well among supporters, as many put the club on blast for mixing politics with sports, which is an alleged against FIFA rules.
Other supporters vow to never donate or buying a new kit for upcoming five years, as effort to disagree with its decision.
Other supporters call the decision is divicive, as the club supported by citizens with different thoughts about politics.
Several institutions, supporters and organisations join CCM harambee to facilitate the party goal by donating Tshs 86 billion.
